Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on approach that focuses on the craniosacral system, which surrounds the brain and spinal cord. 3.  What can I expect during a session?
You can expect a quiet exchange at the start of the session.  Robyn prefers to pray out loud with patients, however she is respectful of everyone's comfort level and belief system.  She asks permission first.  If the person declines, she prays to herself.  She will start the session with a slow hands on assessment either slightly off the body or lightly on the body where she feels called to begin.  After she attunes to the spirit and body of the patient she begins the work.  Although there are trained patterns she can follow, she is often led to work where the body calls her to.  She believes God intervenes on her the patient's behalf.  She trusts the process and follows where she feels led to release restrictions.  Every session is different depending on the current needs of the patient at the time of the session.  You can expect a gentle release of energy, a relaxed state with a clearing of the mind.  Often, people feel lighter, free, and clearer minded.

4.  How long is a session?
An initial consultation is 90 minutes which includes a short health history and assessment of goals to set an intention.  The rest of the appointment, approximately 60 min is hands on.  After the first 90 minute session, you choose 30, 60, 90 or 120 minutes depending on the needs of the patient.

5.  Do I have to keep coming back after the first session?
Robyn recommends people try the first session and see how they respond t.  Then decide if they found it beneficial 24-48 hours later before booking any further sessions.  Most benefit from multiple sessions because the work deepens as people begin to understand how the work is done.  There is no "prescription" for this work, rather it's a soul work that is very individual to the needs of the person receiving.
