I'm a devoted mother to three wonderful boys.  My Christian faith drives my belief in God's ability to heal people through others.  He guides my work and my life. My heart holds a special place for active-duty military members, their families,  and all veterans who previously served our country.

Nursing is not just my profession; it's my passion.  I am driven by empathy, intuition, and prayer. I believe I've been called to create a healing space where the body, mind, spirit, and soul can come together and find peace.

 

I was raised on a farm and attended a country school. My perspective on life is often different from most, and I attribute this to my upbringing and spiritual walk. I have degrees in psychology and nursing. I tell people that nursing chose me; I didn't choose it.  Raising my children has been my greatest accomplishment.  Nursing and serving Veterans feeds my soul.  My calling and passion for serving others runs deep. My journey to this point in life has not been a straight line. It has given me insight and helped me grow deep roots.  An oak grows stronger with wind.  I have run the race and will continue as God sees fit.  

 

My hope and prayer are to create a healing space for people to find inner peace and healing. My own journey has been challenging, but the work I have done and continue to do helps me be empathetic with those who choose this courageous journey of healing.

 

I own my own business, The Art of Healing and I currently work full-time as a registered nurse serving Nebraska and Western Iowa's Veterans. I see clients after hours and on weekends. This healing work is soul work.  It makes my spirit sing.  I am humbled by the gift of helping others.  Honoring others healing walk in life is a blessing.   I believe those who are courageous enough too seek this deeper healing are a gift.
